The Lady Zebra's Softball Team has not shied away from any competition to start this season. Coach Short believes in playing the best teams early, so down the stretch, the girls will be ready when they come face to face with adversity. They have already started showing their toughness, going 3-3 to start the year, facing primarily 6a teams. District play will be starting soon and his team will be ready.
One main reason they will be ready is because of starting pitcher Jazmine Cookson. Jazmine is off to a red-hot start early into this year's softball season. Jazmine earned 2 wins as the starting pitcher, all while hitting two home runs and having 7 RBIs at the Broken Arrow Tournament.
