grew up in Belleville, IL and went on to McKendree University where I wrestled for Coach Willard and was teammates with Coach Jahn. I am currently in year 8 teaching and coaching here at Claremore. I am fortunate to be Head JH Wrestling Coach, Assistant HS Wrestling Coach as well as the director of our youth wrestling program: Claremore Wrestling Club. I am a member of Cedar point church here in Claremore and absolutely love this community.

Zac Weber, Head Coach
Josh Cunningham, Assistant Coach
grew up a Claremore zebra participating in wrestling and football beginning in the 4th grade. For the zebra football team, Josh was a 3-year starter and played 32 straight games. Throughout his career at Claremore he amassed 329 tackles, and 18 sacks. Josh was awarded Rogers County player of the week 3 times, the national guard player of the week and the old spice player of the year in 2009. As a Lantow award recipient, Josh was selected to the 2011 All-state football class as a Defensive End. As a wrestler, Josh was a member of the back to-back state champion Claremore wrestling team where he was regional champion and state finalist at 189 pounds. Josh continued his athletic career at the university of Tulsa as a walk-on to the golden hurricane football team in 2012 and 2013 where they won the conference USA championship and the auto zone liberty bowl. Josh finished out his athletic career playing football at Northeastern State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance and a master’s degree in kinesiology. Josh is now a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is married to his wife, Shayla. Together they have two children, Jonah and Charlott, and are glad to be members of the zebra family.
Billy Willard, Head Girls Coach
was a graduate with the class of 1999 at Collinsville High School. He played football, baseball, and wrestled. After High School Coach Willard attended Tulsa Community College for two years, Rogers State University for one year, and then graduated from Northeastern State University in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education. While attending college, Coach Willard volunteered his time coaching football and wrestling at Collinsville High School and coaching wrestling at Fort Gibson High School. Coach Willard after college took his first teaching/coaching job at Perry Public Schools from 2004-2005. At Perry, he taught middle school and high school math. He also coached High School Football, Junior High and High School Wrestling, and Head coached the first Junior High Baseball team at Perry. After one year at Perry, Coach Willard decided to come back to Northeastern Oklahoma and took a job at Welch Public Schools from 2005-2018. In his 13 year stint at Welch Public Schools Coach Willard taught math from 6th grade math up to Algebra One. He also coached Football and Baseball all 13 years. He was the Defensive Coordinator from 2008-2018 and the Head Baseball Coach form also from 2008-2018. He was also named the “Teacher of the Year” at Welch Public Schools in 2018. In 2018 Coach Willard took a new job at Chelsea Public Schools. At Chelsea he taught 6th Grade Math up to Algebra One. Coach Willard was also the Head Baseball Coach and Defensive Coordinator all four years he taught and coached at Chelsea. Coach Willard has been married for 7 years to his wife Kari Willard, an Executive Director at Brookdale Senior Living in Broken Arrow. Coach Willard and his wife have three sons. Sebastian Deckard, a graduate for Inola Public Schools in 2021, Gage Deckard, a Junior at Claremore High, and Brock Willard, a Fourth Grade student at Claremore.
