Graduated from Oologah High School in 1991. While at Oologah Coach Wiens competed in basketball, track and field, cross country and football. Wiens received a scholarship in both basketball and track to Oklahoma Christian, and graduated in 1996. Soon after graduation Wiens began teaching and coaching at Oologah High School. He moved to Claremore High School 2001 and has been here ever since.

Has been married to Betsy for 24 years and has two great kid, Tyler and Abbie. Douthitt has been teaching and coaching for 26 years. He has coached football, swimming, soccer, cross country and track. Douthitt loves his wife, hunting, fishing, and reading. Also his favorite show is Peaky Blinders and The Office.
