Jarrett Hurt was the valedictorian of the class of 1990 at Wyandotte High School. He played in the AllState football game in 1990 and made All-State in track. Coach Hurt was the state champion in the 110-meter high hurdles in 1990. Coach Hurt played football at Missouri Southern State College in Joplin, Missouri, where he lettered for three years. Coach Hurt graduated with a 4.0 GPA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education in 1994. He was a student assistant for one year and a graduate assistant for two years at Missouri Southern. Coach Hurt earned his Master’s Degree in Secondary School Administration from Pittsburg State University in 1996. Coach Hurt coached at Broken Arrow High School as an assistant coach for four years from 1996-1999 and he served as the defensive coordinator during his fourth year at Broken Arrow. Coach Hurt then became the head football coach at Skiatook High School for six seasons and he was also the middle school assistant principal for six years. Coach Hurt was named the Region 7 football coach of the year in 2000 and he led the Bulldogs to the playoffs three times in six years. Coach Hurt was named the head football coach at Claremore High School before the 2016 season after serving as the defensive coordinator for eight years. He has led the Zebras to the playoffs five out of six years, including two trips to the state quarterfinals his second and third years. Coach Hurt was named the Region 3 football coach of the year in 2018. Coach Hurt was selected from Region 3 to coach in the 2021 All-State football game. He is also one of the assistant athletic directors at Claremore High School. Coach Hurt served as the Region 3 board member for the Oklahoma Coaches Association for two years. Then, he served a year as the Vice-President and a year as the President of the Oklahoma Coaches Association. Coach Hurt has been married for 25 years to LaRonna, a reading specialist at Will Rogers Junior High. LaRonna was the district teacher of the year for Claremore Public Schools in 2015. Coach Hurt and his wife have two daughters. Jayla is a junior at OSU and Jarreka is a freshman at Rogers State University. Coach Hurt and his family are members of First Baptist Church in Claremore.

Brian Key, Offensive Line
grew up in Wellston, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Wellston High School in 1989. He was a 4-year starter playing offensive and defensive line. He was selected as an All-State standout his senior year. Coach Key played football at UCO from 1989-1992 where he was a four year starter on the offensive line and was named to the Lone Star All-Conference Team in 1992. Read More
Noah Grimett, Offensive Coordinator
graduated from Claremore High School in 2018. He earned an associate’s degree in Arts at Seminole State University. He is now in his last year at RSU where he will earn a BA in Communications in Radio/Television. Read More
Matt Wallen, Wide Receivers
is brand new to the Zebra family. He grew up in Oklahoma City and attended Putnam City Public Schools from Kindergarten to Ninth grade. In Tenth grade, he transferred to Bethany High School and became a Broncho. During his time at Bethany, Coach Wallen played football and baseball.

was a graduate with the class of 1999 at Collinsville High School. He played football, baseball, and wrestled. Read More
Josh Cunningham, Defensive Line
grew up a Claremore Zebra, participating in wrestling and football beginning in the 4th grade. For the Zebra Football Team, Josh was a 3-year starter and played 32 straight games. Throughout his career at Claremore, he amassed 329 tackles and 18 sacks. Josh was awarded Rogers County Player of the Week 3 times, the National Guard Player of the Week and Old Spice Player of the Year in 2009. is a lifelong Zebra, having attended Claremore from kindergarten through his senior year. He comes from a family of Zebras; both of his parents and both of his brothers graduated from Claremore. Read More
Jake Swicegood, Inside linebackers
graduated from Colcord High School in 2012. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Parks and Wildlife Law Enforcement from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2017. He spent the last 4 years as a recruiter for Rogers State University.
Coach Good married his wife Breanna (Claremore graduate) in May of 2019. Their daughter Lyla was born on January 17th 2022.
He coaches the Inside Linebackers and helps with Special Teams.
