Claremore Boys Basketball traveled to Gravette Arkansas on Wednesday.  They defeated Dardanelle in the first round, Siloam Springs in the second round, and Gravette in the championship game.  The boys played great all week, holding their opponents under their season average each and every game.  The Claremore boys had major contributions from Rex Clark who took an incredible 4 charges in the championship game, Gunner Holm who was electric using his vision to find teammates leading to several assist throughout the tournament.  Braxton Etheridge leadership was on display as each game was nip and tuck the entire way.  Payton Bean and  Hayden Lee stepped up huge in key moments knocking down three point shots to help swing the momentum.  Tytus Eubanks finding the crease in the defense and using his high basketball IQ to help score.  To cap it off three of our Zebras were named to the ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM in junior Teagan Mann and Seniors Will Jones and Eli Rodgers.  Teegan battling illness found ways to get open all week and help carry the Zebras with his ability to shoot the long ball!  Will Jones and his crafty ability to attack the basket was on display all week as he torched the Arkansas opponents scoring double figures each and every night.  Eli Rodgers leadership and his athleticism was on complete display Friday Night in the finals.  He took on the task of defending the opposing teams best player and he fought every moment holding his open well under his average.  These zebras our tournament champions but more importantly are creating memories that will last forever!
