Does a SMART Board make you smart? Of course!
In Mrs. Simmonds' Science class, students use the SMART Board to practice skills they are learning. A SMART Board is an interactive whiteboard that you use your fingers to operate instead of a mouse or keyboard. It's used just like a computer!

Our COFFEE CART is back for another year! Teachers and staff get to order coffee, tea, and a sweet treat each Friday! Our coffee cart is a classroom business run by Mrs.Esau's class that sells coffee and treats to teachers and staff on Fridays. It's a great opportunity for the students to practice applicable life skills. They work together as a team, apply for jobs, run the coffee cart, fulfill orders, handle money and check stock. Our teachers love seeing their smiling faces delivering treats!

Our school social worker had a coat and hoodie drive, and 98 ITEMS were collected! WOW! A big thank you goes out to our CHS volleyball coach and team for all their help in this drive! Because of their kindness and effort, a lot of our WRJH students will be so much warmer this winter.
Way to go CHS Volleyball! We appreciate you!

What's your DNA?
In Mrs. Hammack's class, students made models of DNA strands. Students are learning all about DNA and how it is made of two linked strands that wind around each other to resemble a twisted ladder — a shape known as a double helix.
The students strands look just like a twisted ladder!

You sank my battleship!
Students in Mr. Marion's computer classes played the classic game, Battleship. There was just one small difference with this game- it was played on the computers! Teams were formed and games were played- and won. And a few losses!

Our WRJH Winter Dance is THIS FRIDAY, Dec. 9th. Here are some helpful hints and info on our dance. We hope everyone has a great time!
- What is the dress code? The dress code is the same as the dress code for school. What you wear to the dance must be school appropriate.
- Can they dress up? Yes, as long as the outfit is school appropriate you may wear a dress or a suit. You are not required to dress up. You could wear your Christmas pajamas or a Christmas sweater. There will be a prize given to the person dressed the most Christmas spirited.
-Can sixth graders go the same time as the seventh and eighth graders? The answer is no, the sixth grade has to go with their own class and the seventh and eighth grade will go together after the sixth grade.
- Can students from other schools come? Only Will Rogers Junior High students are allowed to attend
- Will there be food at the dance? There will be a concession stand at the dance, full of yummy snacks and drinks.
