Having a positive impact on students' lives is one of the many reasons I became a Principal. Watching students become better people is a true gift!

I have been in education since 2008 and at Will Rogers Junior High since 2013. I taught 8th-grade English before I began my journey as an administrator.

INSTRUCTIONAL COACH

INSTRUCTIONAL COACH

LaRonna Hurt

An instructional coach works with teachers to improve the quality of their lessons and the quality of students' education. I am passionate about education and our students’ success.  I became a teacher 30 years ago, because it’s what I was called to do!  I am now an instructional coach, and I get to support teachers and their success.  If I can make a positive impact on one teacher, that teacher can impact the lives of many students for years to come.

Teacher of the Year

Stacye Bacon

Someone once asked me, “Why do you teach?” I responded, “Why would I not?” I get the best opportunity to show people love and hope. I am allowed the blessing and opportunity to speak life into their worlds.  I get to help them to read, speak, listen, and to write better. I am allowed to create a safe place for them to learn and grow and become a better person.  I can shine a light into a life where sometimes darkness may prevail at home. I can offer a smile to someone as they enter the building in the morning to let them know that I am glad they are here.

CREED

We are the Claremore Zebras galloping to success.
