This week in music, Mr. Peters taught Reggae music, a style of music that originated in Jamaica . Students learned about Jamaica and famous Reggae musicians like Bob Marley. They also got the opportunity to play a steel drum🥁! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Bring: Documents required for enrollment at Claremore Schools. No child will be enrolled without the following information and up-to-date immunization records.
✅ Birth Certificate - Age Requirements are:
Early Childhood students must be 4 years old by September 1st.
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1st.
✅ 2 Proofs of Residency (may include utility bill or utility deposit, and a lease agreement, mortgage statement, or county tax statement. P.O. Box addresses are NOT acceptable.)
✅ Immunization Record (must be up-to-date)
✅Parent/ Guardian Driver License
✅CDIB Card (Native American citizenship registration card) if applicable.

4th grade is having a novel study over Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis. This book from the eyes of a ten year old orphan, African-American boy during the 1930's Great Depression. The story tells how he struggles through life to survive and the search to find his father.
For their final project students had to create their own Hoovervilles, using different items of their choice. Several students took advantage of being stuck at home during the snow and ice storm to create their vision of a "Hooverville"
