🚁 Drone Day Fun with NJROTC!
On May 13th, the Frank Mobra Fieldhouse was buzzing—literally! NJROTC cadets hosted Drone Day, welcoming students from Catalayah, Claremont, Roosa, Westside Elementary schools, and Will Rogers Junior High.
Our aviation cadets led hands-on drone instruction, guiding younger students through the basics of flight, safety, and STEM principles. The morning was packed with learning, flying, and fun—and the excitement didn't stop there. After lunch, our amazing teachers jumped into the action with friendly drone racing! 🏁🎮

Mrs. Robinson's 4th-grade class and Mrs. LaValley's 2nd-grade class were the winners of the classroom ticket sales competition. Both classes were able to board a bus and take a trip to Braum's for an ice cream treat! It was a wonderful way to celebrate their fundraising efforts for Roosa! Great Job!
