Claremore High School's Senior Day was an unforgettable event that left students with essential life skills and cherished memories. The day began with an invaluable presentation from North East Tech and Baker Hughes. Next, the Army National Guard conducted hands-on CPR training, equipping the graduating seniors with potentially life-saving techniques. After the informative session, the students indulged in a delightful array of recreational activities, including tug of war, board games, karaoke, corn hole, and more. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and camaraderie as the students bonded over friendly competitions and shared laughter. Claremore High School staff played a crucial role in coordinating the event, ensuring that the day was not only educational but also a memorable celebration of their senior year. Oklahoma State University, Rose State College, Tulsa University, Tulsa Community College, Holberton Tulsa and North East Tech representatives were there to hand out information and answer questions for our seniors. This unique combination of learning and leisure made Senior Day an outstanding and unforgettable experience for the Class of 2023.

This week at Claremore High School the Student Council went to fall districts in Oologah. Student Council districts provide educational leadership training and opportunities for students and sponsors of member schools. Yearbook interviewed some members about their experience. President Rex Clark said “I enjoyed listening to the motivational speaker and dancing with my friends.”
By participating in this Fall District leadership training, Claremore High School's Student Council is better prepared to take on their responsibilities and initiatives to improve the school community throughout the academic year. The students returned from Oologah with renewed enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and a deeper understanding of their roles as leaders within the school, ready to make a positive impact on their peers and the community. In addition, this event also provided valuable information on future goals and opportunities that come after senior year.
