Mr. Borntreger's math class is digging deep into real-life data analysis! Students explored the relationship between sleep and screen time by creating scatter plots to investigate if there's a correlation between hours of sleep and time spent on phones.
Their preliminary findings suggest that more data is needed to determine a definite connection. Good job to our young mathematicians for applying their problem-solving skills to real-world situations!

Over the last few weeks, 7th graders have been working on identifying prepositions and prepositional phrases. A good way to remember what a preposition is - anything a paper airplane can do when being thrown such as fly THROUGH the sky or bounce off OF a wall. The students further solidified their learning by making and throwing paper airplanes before writing their own sentences about their planes using prepositional phrases. Who doesn't like making and flying airplanes?✈ #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Students in Mr. Wadsworth's classes just completed a three-week project where they planned a 7-day trip through Western Europe. They researched transportation, accommodations, activities, and budgeting to prepare for their journey.
The students chose three cities to explore and learned about local attractions, food, and landmarks. As a final project, they created and presented slideshows showcasing their 7-day adventure.
