Welcome to Will Rogers Junior High, Mr. Seng!
Our brand new Assistant Principal, Mr. Michael Seng, comes to us from Broken Arrow Public Schools.
Let's get to know Mr. Seng ►►►
Where are you from?
I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was born and raised there.
Where did you go to school?
I went to Union High School, then on to OU for my Bachelor's in History and my Master's in Education Administration.
Are you married?
Yes, my wife's name is Tasha. We met in high school and have been together for 15 years and married for 12 years. We have two dogs, Millie and DJ (named after Derek Jeter)
What is your WHY?
I believe we are all charged with leaving something better than when we found it. When America announced its presence on the world stage, it said we stood for grand, lofty ideals like "All men are created equal" and "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." I believe having been fortunate and privileged enough to be born in this country it is my purpose to do what I can to help close the gap between where we are and what those ideals mean. Education is the best tool with which to do that. I had excellent teachers who believed in me and inspired me to be like them.
Welcome to our ZEBRA FAMILY, Mr. Seng! We are so glad you are here!

During the second week of June, Mrs. Smith took a group of 8th graders and one Freshman to Washington DC and Williamsburg, VA. They spent five days exploring many destinations which included Colonial Williamsburg, the Jamestown Settlement, Mt. Vernon, several Smithsonian’s, the Holocaust museum, many monuments, the Capital grounds, and of course the White House! It was educational, but also very memorable for each student. There was also a step competition involved. Mrs. Smith logged 20,187 steps total during one day’s excursions! Wow! How fun!
