8th grade students in our High School Physical Science classes wrapped up their chemistry unit by creating Bohr models of the first 50 elements of the periodic table. The outside of their boxes resemble the squares of the periodic table. Inside, students included facts about their elements and identified the correct number and placement of the subatomic particles. We've also got to give a shoutout to Mazzio's in Claremore for generously donating the pizza boxes! 8th-grade math students in Mrs. Tugmon's classes are taking their learning beyond the classroom with their very own biz town! 🏢 By cooking, ordering, taking orders, and managing money, they're developing essential life skills like budgeting, tipping, and balancing a budget. 💸 These young entrepreneurs are discovering firsthand how math applies to real-world situations while having fun! 🍳💰👏" #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

What a fantastic evening of music! Last Thursday marked our final band concert of the year, and our junior high band members truly outdid themselves with their amazing performances. The growth and progress they have made under the guidance of Mr. Pringle is truly remarkable, and it was evident in the beautiful music they shared with us all. Mrs. Boyd's class has been diving deep into the fascinating world of Human Body Systems! 💪 As part of their exploration, students got hands-on by constructing model hands to better understand how various systems work together to make something as simple as hand movement possible. By examining the intricate interplay between the muscular system, skeletal system, circulatory system, and nervous system, they gained great insights into the complex and amazing human body. 🤝 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our CHS seniors took one last walk through the familiar halls of Will Rogers Junior High today! The Cherokee Nation donated brand new fishing poles to our 6th graders, following a field trip to the RSU Reserve. This thoughtful gesture will enable our students to further their connection with nature and cultural heritage. 🌳🎣 Thank you, Cherokee Nation. We appreciate you! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
