Leave it to the staff to turn Halloween costumes into a lesson plan. This is how 4th and 5th grade taught this non essential standard (idioms). Students had figure out what an idiom is, look at examples, then fill out their guess for each teacher. Once parties began, we drew from our boxes and the first kiddo we came to that had everything correct won the Halloween gift bucket! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Friday Night Football is BREAST CANCER Awareness & MILITARY Appreciation Night. Wear your ZUAC/Pink Out shirts in support of those in our community fighting this disease and as a reminder to get a mammogram.
I addition, all military with a valid ID will be admitted free for the game.

Over the past 3 years, we have donated over 10K to staff & students from CHS, WRJH, Westside, and Roosa as personally battled this disease. We still have teachers and students in our district that are actively in treatment.

Rotary Club of Claremore is preparing for the 32nd Annual Rotary Chili Supper on Friday, November 1, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Claremore High School cafeteria.
Tickets are $5.00 and include chili, dessert, and drink. With the purchase of a ticket, you will be entered into a drawing for the pictured Zebra quilt (need not be present to win). All proceeds benefit the Claremore Public Schools Foundation.
Tickets are available from any Rotary Club member, at the door or the Claremore Public Schools Foundation office.

Remember NOT ALL CANCER IS PINK; therefore, we will be raising money all year as we support our staff & students that are battling a variety of cancers.
