3rd grade students are learning about emperor penguins! To enrich their learning about how penguins feathers have a waxy coating to repel water, students colored penguins with crayons (wax) and then sprayed them with water to see how the wax repels the water!

Meet Mrs. Whitlow.
Mrs. Whitlow is a Kindergarten paraprofessional. Mrs. Whitlow supports providing an environment that is safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate. She assists in individual or small group work, activity modification, assists with student supervision, and helps with behavior management. Mrs. Whitlow is truly an amazing asset to her classroom and to Claremont.
