Randa Fay - Principal

Hello! My name is Randa Fay, and I am the Claremont Elementary principal. I absolutely love the Claremore district and Claremont. I graduated from CHS and attended Claremont as a student. 

I attended Northeastern State University to gain my bachelors degree and later earned my masters degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I enjoy working with kids, and I love working with adults whose hearts are all about developing students into being the best they can be. 

As principal I want to show kids how important and special they are. I want the children to know that I am one of their biggest cheerleaders and their families to know they have my support. Life can be hard. My goal is to see the positive side in things, keep things simple, and smile often. 

I have two children who attend CPS. I enjoy working on home improvement projects. My children are active in multiple sports. When I'm not working on house projects or at their events, we enjoy time outdoors. 

I feel humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve Claremore and their families. I truly believe I work with and for the best of the best and try everyday to live up to those standards.

David Mudd - Assistant Principal

I have been a part of the Claremore Public Schools (CPS) family since 2016. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Arkansas, a Master's in Music Education from the University of Tulsa, and have completed a Post Graduate Educational Leadership Extension at Southern Nazarene University. My journey in education has been driven by a deep passion for helping students grow and succeed, and I believe that, as an Assistant Principal, I can make an even greater positive impact on the lives of our students.

What I love most about CPS is the incredible sense of community and family that I’ve found here. The support and collaboration among staff, students, and parents are truly unmatched, and I’m grateful to be a part of such a special district.

I am excited to get to know the students, parents, and teachers that make up the Claremont community and to learn how I can best support and serve them. My goal is to ensure that every student feels valued, understood, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.

Outside of my role at Claremont, I enjoy cycling, hiking, spending time with my family, and making music with my friends. These experiences help keep me balanced and energized, ready to give my all to our school community.

I am committed to fostering a positive, inclusive environment where every student can thrive. It’s a privilege to work alongside such dedicated educators and families, and I look forward to what we will accomplish together.
