This week on Friday Favorites we hear from Mrs. Henson!
"One of my favorite things to do is go to concerts. I have seen all different types and have enjoyed every single one! I've seen Imagine Dragons, Michael Bublé, Garth Brooks, Bon Jovi, New Kids on the Block, Dave Matthews Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gavin DeGraw, Styx, and REO Speedwagon, just to name a few! The list could go on and on, but my favorite concerts to attend are those performed by the CHS Jazz Band. My son plays the saxophone, and I love hearing him play and grow as a musician!"
What is your favorite concert you have been to? Drop your answer in the comments!

Every Friday at Rise and Shine, we take a moment to recognize students who went above and beyond. Some have cleaned up trash without being asked, while others opened a door for someone or helped a friend in need. These are special moments we love to celebrate with our students!
Show someone some kindness today! Let them know you appreciate them!

Recently, Ms. Fay and Mr. Mudd surprised several Claremore teachers with a Sonic drink! These teachers were busy learning everything there is to know about Great Expectations and preparing to use these G.E. standards in the classroom.

When it's hot outside, staying cool is important! Sometimes that means finding something fun to do indoors.
Our students love doing puzzles! These two worked together to finish this one. Do you enjoy puzzles? Maybe you prefer coloring.

“I threw a mix of wildflower seeds out in my yard in April. They are going wild, with a sunflower that is almost as tall as me! I water my garden every morning and enjoy using Google Lens to identify anything new that comes up!”
