Today is Veterans Day, so we will take a moment to thank those who have served our country and sacrificed so much. Sergeant John Ihle served seven years of active duty in the United States Army. During his time in the Army, he was deployed to Pakistan in 2010 and then to Afghanistan from 2011 to 2012. He now resides here in Claremore with his wife, Katie, and their two children. Many of you know Mrs. Ihle as one of our 3rd-grade teachers, and John is our PTO President. We are thankful to him and his family for their sacrifice and service to our country. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🇺🇸 It’s Election Day, and our second-graders are exercising their right to vote! 🇺🇸 On their ballot, they had to choose between Grace and Duck for President. Zebra Family, The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Please be assured that CPS is closely monitoring the weather forecast. All sites have reviewed our safety protocols. We understand that parents/guardians may want to pick up their children through the proper channels. If you choose to do so, this will be an excused absence. However, we do not want to send children home without supervision; therefore, our buses will not run early. If the weather changes and we must delay the buses, we will notify you as soon as possible through the CPS Mobile App and the Stopfinder App.

Claremont and Nurse Burke partnered with the RoCo Health Department to go over health and hygiene with our 5th graders! Hygiene is an important part of daily habits that will last a lifetime! Thank you Rogers County Health Department! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
