REMINDER - In honor of the Labor Day holiday, CPS will be closed on Monday, September 2nd.
"Before the reward, there must be labor. You plant before you harvest. You sow in tears before you reap joy." Ralph Ransom
Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. The labor movement created it in the late 19th century, and it became a federal holiday in 1894.
This weekend, as we spend time with our families and friends, celebrate the value of an honest day's work, the people who built America, and our nation's advancements because of the American labor force.

On Friday, August 23, 2024, Claremore Navy JROTC cadets had the incredible opportunity to travel to McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, KS, for the annual airshow featuring the legendary US Navy Blue Angels.
This day was extra special as we partnered with Del City NJROTC, led by US Navy CAPTAIN John "Irish" Keilty, whose son, Lieutenant Commander Jack "Rico" Keilty, is currently serving as an F/A-18 Super Hornet Blue Angel!
Our cadets not only enjoyed an awe-inspiring performance by the Blue Angels but also witnessed the power and precision of the F-35 Lightning and A-10 Thunderbolts. The day was filled with excitement, learning, and camaraderie, highlighting the endless possibilities in aviation, STEM, the US Military, and the importance of teamwork.
What a way to kick off the school year! 💪🌟
