Claremore, OK — Claremore Public Schools has reintroduced its well-loved communication segment, Fridays with Frazier, after a brief hiatus last year. This initiative, originally launched a couple of years ago, aims to keep the community informed and connected through regular updates from Superintendent Bryan Frazier.

The decision to bring back Fridays with Frazier comes in response to widespread demand from the community, which expressed appreciation for the segment's transparency and engagement. “We’re excited to bring it back by popular demand,” said Frazier.

Superintendent Frazier kicked off the new school year by highlighting the successful start of the 2024-2025 academic year. He noted that this first week of school has been the best he has seen in his eight years with the district. “The enthusiasm from our staff and students has been incredible,” Frazier remarked.

The district began the school year with a welcome-back rally, where 530 educators gathered, eager to return to their classrooms. This year’s theme, 'I Love It Here,' reflects the positive atmosphere and growing enrollment within Claremore Public Schools. Frazier pointed out that the increasing number of students choosing Claremore is a testament to the district’s strong reputation and the exciting developments happening within its schools.

However, Superintendent Frazier also acknowledged the importance of continuous improvement and the need to address any concerns. He emphasized the district’s commitment to serving the community and ensuring that Claremore remains a place where everyone can proudly say, “I love it here.” Frazier encouraged open communication and urged parents and community members to share their feedback directly with the district.

Parental involvement remains a key focus for Claremore Public Schools. With school choice being a significant topic in Oklahoma, the district sees parents' active participation as essential to the success of their children’s education. Frazier encouraged parents to get involved by joining the PTO or Booster Club, attending parent-teacher conferences, and staying informed through the district’s communication platforms.

Parents are encouraged to sign up for the Infinite Campus portal and download the Claremore Zebra mobile app to facilitate better communication, ensuring they receive important updates directly on their devices. Frazier stressed the importance of activating notifications to stay connected with the latest news from the district. In an effort to maintain a positive and constructive dialogue, Frazier suggested that parents and community members reach out to school administrators or email FridayswithFrazier@claremore.k12.ok.us before turning to social media with their concerns. “We’re here to listen and help solve any issues,” Frazier said, highlighting the district’s dedication to addressing concerns with accuracy and care.

Claremore Public Schools has committed to delivering Fridays with Frazier at least once a month, with the possibility of even more frequent updates. The district encourages everyone to stay tuned and engaged as they work together to make this school year the best one yet.

As always, Superintendent Frazier closed his message with the district’s rallying cry: “It’s a great day to be a Zebra, and I love it here!”
