Remember, Friday is our collaboration day; all sites will dismiss early, as usual.

As a result, the Parent/Teacher Conferences scheduled for tomorrow will now be Thursday, February 13th. Your previously scheduled conference time will remain the same unless you contact your child's teacher directly or go to the myconferencetime site to change your time.

Roosa students K-5th grade did a cross curricular lesson tying Stuart Roosa day in with Science and Art. Class started with a brief discussion about the life of Stuart Roosa, the moon, planets and outer space followed by a fun art project. The moon was created using soft pastels. Individual pieces were made incorporating our lexicon word of the week "resist" by using crayons and watercolors. The students were taught pencil sketching, wax resist and the process of blending liquid watercolors while learning about our favorite astronaut, Stuart Roosa.
