These wonderful ladies keep our front office running smoothly every day. A day in the life of these ladies vary from moment to moment and they are always flexible while being able to handle the unexpected! They are essential to our school. The Weekend Challenge had a tie! The Challenge was the student who sold the most tickets over the weekend of 4/22-23 would win a manicure and pedicure with the teacher of their choice…. And there was a TIE! Peyton from Mrs. Mann’s class and Collins from Mrs. Riggs’ class both brought in $330 in ticket sales! Way to go! A new Weekend Challenge will be announced this Friday at Rise and Shine. Help our school get to the overall total of $12,000 and Mrs. Willard and Coach Johnson will spend the night on the roof of Roosa Elementary! Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is now open! All families must complete enrollment every year. Enrollment may be completed entirely online, and we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer to enroll. If you do not have access to a computer, or if you need enrollment assistance, the CPS Enrollment Center has computers and scanners available and will be happy to help. They are open daily from 8a - 4p (arrive by 3:30p). You are now able to enroll your current students for the 2023-2024 school year by accessing the student records portal through this link https://ok.wengage.com/claremore. Please watch the video instructions or follow the written instructions to update the necessary information and complete the 2024 school year enrollment. This applies to current and new students. Mrs. Heath shared her Cinderella collection with Mrs. LaValleys 2nd grade class. She brought in old Cinderella books, antique Cinderella memorabilia, and even a hand painted Cinderella glasses case from a trip she took with her husband to Russia! 2nd grade has been learning about Fairy Tales in preparation for the Fairy Tale Ball which will take place Friday, April 28, 2023. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Crazy hair - don’t care!! Mrs. Mann’s 2nd grade class read and researched best practices to grow grass, they planted seeds and watched them grow! After a couple of weeks their “Dirt Babies” sprouted!!! Look at the before and after photos! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

All GT students, from the four elementary schools, went to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art 🎨. This three story tall museum field trip was sponsored by CPSF for Art Appreciation. Before the trip the GT students studied about Dale Chihuly, his life and glass artwork in various forms. At the museum students saw various artworks to include works by Chihuly. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

What time do you eat breakfast? What time do you eat lunch? In Mrs. Rippy’s Kindergarten class students turned their 🕕 clocks 🕗 to show when they do things in their lives. Telling time is a skill students learn that helps them bridge the gap between understanding and knowledge by linking their own hands-on experiences with what they know. Where does the decimal place go, how much money does it take? In Mrs. Colliers’s 4th grade WIN group they reviewed money 💲💲💲💲 using $100, $10, $1, 10¢ & 1¢. They also practiced decimal place values. Excellent way to spend your WIN Time. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
