Paging Mrs. Peters' class to the OR, STAT!
3rd grade performed some major exploratory surgeries and discovered the text feature each patient needed, in order to lead-or should I say READ a good story and appreciate every detail available! All "patients" were expertly patched up and matched with the proper feature.
As for this crew of attending 3rd graders: the prognosis is good that they will remember text features and how to use them for a long time to come!

We are quickly coming up on 5th grade's visit to Biztown!
JA Biztown is brought to us by Junior Achievement USA as a fun and interactive way to let students experience the "real world." There, students will be able to run their business and see the impact they have as a worker, a town citizen, and consumer.
Before they even get to Biztown, they must run elections, and interview for the jobs they will hold, and boy, did these kids give it their all!

What a day to honor our veterans! Fifth grade arranged an amazing assembly showcasing each grade and their love and admiration for our Veterans! There was even a surprise visit from some former Roosa kiddos who will be walking across the stage at graduation in a few short months! We hope our guests could feel the love throughout the presentation and reception that followed and know that we appreciate you each and every day!

School psychologists have so many behind the scenes responsibilities, it would be a shame to not showcase our own and her stupendous super powers! Able to leap through and over the tallest of buildings-er... stacks of data, research, and paperwork and move the biggest of mountains, her abilities are something of legend! She helps to ensure that every student has exactly what they need to make them successful in all they do!

Have you ever wanted a one on one lunch with your favorite teacher? How about your amazing principal? What would you talk about if you got to pick the brain of the man in power, superintendent, Mr. Frazier?
Our fabulous PTO gave fall festival goers, the chance to win those opportunities, and these lovely ladies eagerly jumped at that chance!!
Emma and Autumn each got a quiet lunch at The Pink House: Emma with Mrs. Willard, and Autumn with her favorite teacher pick, Mrs. Page, while Livy chose to invite Mr. Frazier to join her and her friends as they discussed the daily goings on and some heavier hitting topics like OU vs OSU.
Thank you to our PTO for making it happen, they all had so much fun!
