Congratulations to our Claremont Site Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Lauren Camber! Mrs. Camber has been in education for 9 years. She has a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and teaches Pre-K. Mrs. Camber has been married to her husband Shawn for 9 years, and has one daughter who is in first grade. Mrs. Camber teaches because "I didn't enjoy school and don't remember it being "fun." I became a teacher to put the "fun" back in school. Nothing gives me more joy than to see young kids want to come to school and participate in fun ways of learning. I am a kid at heart, and I can leave the adult world for a bit everyday and be silly and have fun with my students." Give Mrs. Camber a round of applause and a big congratulations in the comments! I didn't enjoy school and don't remember it being "fun." I became a teacher to put the "fun" back in school. Nothing gives me more joy than to see young kids want to come to school and participate in fun ways of learning. 🌶SAVE THE DATE - November 3rd - for the 36th Annual Chili Supper hosted by the Claremore Rotary. Your $5 ticket will include a heaping bowl of chili, a drink, dessert and entertainment. You can purchase your ticket from any Rotary member or at the door; all proceeds benefit the Claremore Public School Foundation and go directly to teachers through their annual Grant Patrol program. 📍 Lantow Field Fieldhouse for those going to the game. 🚗Not going to the game? That is okay - they have curbside pickup outside the stadium. 🏈 We invite you to stay to watch the Claremore Zebras compete against the Collinsville on SENIOR NIGHT. 🎓 Seniors will be announced at 6:20 PM. 🎷Following the game, the award-winning CHS Band will be performing their GLOW SHOW.
