A few weeks ago, State Farm held a contest on social media for their National Night Out event where community members had the opportunity to give a shout out to their favorite school - and Claremont WON!
We were blessed with snacks and school supplies today by one of our Claremont State Farm agents, Grant Gingerich!

WIN time is such an important part of our day! It gives teachers the ability to separate students into groups based upon their needs and then gives students individualized instruction based upon those needs. We see students "get" things all year- all because of the extra instruction they receive during WIN time!

The Claremore Police Department, Volunteers for Youth and the Healthy Community Partnership, are hosting the “Back to School Bash at National Night Out” on Tuesday, August 3rd, from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Claremore Lake Park Splash Pad.
Local organizations will give away free school 🖍 supplies and family resource information. Children will also be able to get a free back-to-school 💈 haircut and school 👩🏽⚕️immunizations will be provided by the Rogers County Health Department. COVID Antibody testing and COVID vaccinations will also be offered.
There will be several family-friendly activities, including live 🎵 music, fun and play features for the children, free drinks, and free 🍕pizza.
👮🏻♀️👮🏼♂️Claremore Police Officers will be on-hand to answer any questions and to interact with anyone interested in promoting safety and security within our community.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, the transportation department is working diligently to create the most efficient routes for our students who will ride a bus. To do that, we need your help. Please complete the Bus Rider Registration form below if you anticipate your child riding a CPS bus to/from school 80% of the time.
Please be on the lookout for an email Welcoming you to the StopFinder App. This app is our new transportation app that contains information regarding your student's bus schedule.

The Cherokee Nation is providing $150 in clothing assistance for every qualifying Cherokee student regardless of residency or income, with applications accepted beginning Tuesday, July 20.
The Cherokee Nation clothing assistance program was established to assist Cherokee families in purchasing new clothes for children ahead of the upcoming academic year. Cherokee Nation Human Services will accept applications for the school clothing assistance program until Aug. 20, 2021, through the tribe’s online Gadugi Portal at https://gadugiportal.cherokee.org.
