Maysa Sawney from the Eastern Oklahoma Dental Institute visited our kindergartners to discuss which foods help maintain healthy teeth, the correct way to brush teeth, and the consequences of not brushing regularly. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Today we wear red in celebration of Public Schools Week. In Oklahoma, 700,000 students are served in public schools. These public schools are the backbone of our community, offering every child the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream big. They are places where lifelong friendships are formed, talents are discovered, and the leaders of tomorrow are nurtured. L-O-V-E, LOVE! Mrs. Peck's 1st-grade class hosted Rise and Shine at the end of Kindness Week. They sang a song about the ways we can show love to others. It was a wonderful reminder to us all to make sure our friends and family know we love them. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mr. Millsap recently dropped by the school to teach our third graders how to make pesto! The students had the opportunity to observe the process of making pesto and even participated in taste-testing it. While some discovered they enjoyed pesto, others found that it wasn't to their liking. Overall, it was a delightful and engaging afternoon! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

"Snowflake, snowflake, little snowflake falling from the sky" Mrs. Wards 1st- grade class hosted Rise and Shine for us and sang a beautiful song about snowflakes. Everyone enjoyed singing along with them. Great job, Mrs. Wards class! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
