Parents/Guardians will make an appointment with their child's teacher(s) through myconferencetime.com.  In addition to teachers contacting you with the link, the school sites will post it on their website closer to the conference dates.

It’s proven attending these conferences can:

  1. Improve Communication: Academic conferences provide a valuable platform for open and effective communication between parents/guardians and teachers. This helps share information, concerns, and updates about the child's progress.

  2. Better Understanding of Curriculum: Parents/Guardians can better understand the curriculum and educational goals specific to their child's grade level, allowing them to better support their child's learning at home.

  3. Create Tailored Support: Conferences allow teachers to discuss specific areas where a student may need additional support or enrichment, enabling parents/guardians to provide targeted assistance.

  4. Goal Setting: Parents/Guardians and teachers can set academic and behavioral goals for the child, creating a collaborative plan for success.

  5. Individualized Learning: Parents/Guardians can learn about their child's learning style, strengths, and weaknesses, enabling them to advocate for and support personalized learning strategies.

  6. Early Intervention: Parents/Guardians can identify potential academic or behavioral issues early, leading to timely interventions and preventing larger problems from developing.

  7. Motivation and Accountability: When parents/guardians are involved in their child's education, students often feel a stronger motivation and accountability to excel in their studies.

  8. Building a Supportive Network: Conferences allow parents/guardians to connect with other parents/guardians, fostering a sense of community and creating a supportive network for parents/guardians and students.

  9. Student Confidence: When parents/guardians and teachers work together, students often experience increased confidence and a sense of security, knowing that their education is collaborative among trusted adults.

Once you schedule your conference, the teacher will receive a conference time confirmation. You will also receive an email reminder a few days before the conference.

We look forward to partnering with you to accomplish our District goals of raising student achievement, closing the achievement gap, providing educational equity, and ensuring a safe educational environment for all students.

Remember - this is an evening set aside for these conferences, but our staff is available to meet with you during the school day as schedules permit.  Contact our teachers, counselors, or administration to schedule an appointment anytime.
