FRESHMAN ORIENTATION
AUGUST 11th - Claremore High School’s annual freshman orientation program will be 8:30 AM - 11 AM. This program introduces students to the high school campus with tours of the facilities, a variety of team-building activities, and all things that instill #CPSZEBRAPRIDE.
The event is staffed by CHS administrators, teachers, and FUZE mentors (juniors and seniors). The morning will start with a brief parent meeting introducing you to staff, new policies, and procedures. Following this meeting, the #CHSClassof2026 will be paired with FUZE mentors in small groups for the daily activities. The mentors will also work to connect with the students throughout the year as they navigate the success, challenges, and experiences this new year will bring.
“Freshman orientation was designed to connect students with the people, places, and information they need to be successful in high school,” said CHS Principal - Dr. Kenny Hindenburg. “We hope that participation in orientation will help students feel at home so they may grow personally and academically.”
To lay the groundwork for a successful 2022-23 high school year, incoming CHS freshmen are encouraged to attend this orientation.
