🔴 What advice you would give your freshman self? Don’t put so much pressure on yourself and remember that just because you have put time into something doesn’t mean you have to stick with it.
🔴 What has this journey taught you about yourself? I am capable of whatever I set my mind to.
🔴 Looking back on your school experience at CPS what does being a Zebra mean to you? To me, being a Zebra means being part of a family.
🔴 What staff member made the biggest impact on your life and how in elementary school? During my years at Westside Elementary, the teacher that had the biggest impact on me was Mrs. Eckert. She gave me confidence during a time when I was struggling to believe in myself.
🔴 What staff member made the biggest impact on your life and how in junior high? At WRJH, Mrs. Niblack sparked my love for math.
🔴 What staff member made the biggest impact on your life and how in high school? At CHS, the teacher who has impacted me the most has been Mrs. Hoffer. It has truly been a privilege to be her student. She has been one of the most loving and supportive teachers I have ever had.
🔴 What is the ONE thing you absolutely take with you to college? My cat.
🔴 What activities you have been involved in? Art Club, Athletics, National Honor Society and Zebras United Against Cancer.
🔴 What was the hardest part (challenges) you had to overcome to achieve this honor? The hardest part has been to not give up. It can get very overwhelming but you have to believe in yourself.
🔴 What are you most proud of in your high school career? I am most proud of completing a half marathon freshmen year.
