Claremore is on track to open its state of the art STEM Innovation Center in Fall of 2021.

This think tank emphasizes science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), providing platforms, spaces, and equipment for our students and teachers to share ideas, research, and participate in the art of discovery - all necessary to succeed for generations to come.

Inside the lab will be various interchangeable STEM exploration stations fitted with technologies typically found in many of today's 21st century college and career environments. Students will be encouraged to investigate, explore, & think outside the box, sparking innovation, and a passion for life-long learning.

Recently we reached a milestone in the building progress. Mrs. Garroutte addressed the students who attended the ceremony. "Welcome to the Steel Topping Out Ceremony for the new Claremore High School STEM Innovation building. The STEM Innovations building will house our new Biomed and Computer Science Programs, ZTV, Robotics, and WRJH Tech Ed program. It will have labs that any class may use and meeting rooms big enough for students to work collaboratively on projects. At the end will be the front of the entire school, containing the front office along with a two-story-high "Maker Space" designed for most any activity. This building is designed for the future. The rooms will be such that as programs change and the future brings other options, we will move furniture, walls, and equipment to create an educational space for any of our ever-changing needs. This new front to our school will represent our students' academic achievements as they have always stood out between our athletics and fine-arts facilities. The Class of 2021 signed the last beam to be installed in the Innovation STEM building, symbolic of the legacy they leave at CHS for the students that follow. Seniors, as this beam is being placed high in this building, it represents your place and time here at CHS, and you will forever be a part of it."
