August 19th at 6PM the FUZE mentors will host their second orientation for those that could not make the last one and those that experienced technical difficulties. Each mentoring team will host an Orientation through ZOOM this time, with their small group. You can find the names and the link to the meetings.

We are aware that due to technical difficulties, many of you were unable to access yesterday’s Freshman orientation meeting. We have scheduled another meeting for Wednesday, August 19th at 6:00 p.m. We will post a new document closer to the meeting date with Zoom links, in an effort to avoid the technical difficulties we experienced yesterday.
Until then, Max and Brooklyn will take you on a virtual tour of the high school.
Our Gear Up Team created a video to introduce themselves to you and what they do at CHS and how they can help you Gear Up for college. Meet your Gear Up team. When you finish the video, the team would appreciate you taking a couple of minutes to complete this survey.

The link for the Freshman Orientation will ask you to login to a Gmail account, then put in a code. The code is the end of the link url. For example, for the link: http://meet.google.com/psf-zwht-ntj, the code to enter the Meet is 'psf-zwht-ntj'. You can log in with your school email or a personal email as long it is a Gmail account. If you don't have a Gmail account, then you can join our Zoom meeting next Wednesday, August 19th at 6:00 p.m.
Just look for your name (or your child’s name). When you find it, the mentor’s names will be on the right. Those names are live links to the Google Meet.
If your name is not on the list, we have added a Google Meet with the advisors. You will find that link at the bottom of the document above.
Every group will meet on Thursday, August 13th, at 1:30 PM. If you cannot attend on the 13th, they will host another meeting Wednesday, August 19th, at 6:00 PM.

Welcome to the CHS Zebra Family,
Freshman Orientation will be presented digitally this year. An email was sent to your child's school email with an invitation to join a FUZE Google Classroom, and a FUZE member has reached out using the parent contact information we have on file. We are also working on obtaining alternate emails and phone numbers of those we have not been able to contact. If you have not received either of these communications, please contact slahr@claremore.k12.ok.us.
Orientation will take place on Thursday, August 13th, at 1:30 PM through Google Meets. We will send another email August 12th with a document that will include a link to the individual meeting with the student’s assigned FUZE mentors. We will also post a link to these meetings on all communication platforms.
To familiarize yourself with the school’s layout, we will include a link to a virtual tour of the High School in the email.
If you cannot attend on the 13th, we will host another meeting Wednesday, August 19th, at 6:00 PM.
