Ms. Lopez’s class lit up their learning—literally! 🔆💡 Students explored the basics of electricity by building a simple circuit, connecting wires from a battery to a light bulb to complete the flow of electric current. Through hands-on experimentation, they discovered how electricity moves through a closed circuit, why conductors like metal wires help transfer energy, and what happens when a circuit is broken. It was a shocking good time!

Mrs. T's GT students leveled up their math skills with a new game—Prime Climb! They kicked things off by watching a tutorial from one of the game’s creators, Dan Finkel, then dove into the action. This colorful, strategy-packed game challenges players to think critically while practicing key arithmetic skills. Since our 4th-grade class is bigger than the usual 2-4 player setup, students also put their strategic thinking to the test with another favorite—Blokus! It was a day full of fun, logic, and friendly competition! ♟️➕✖️

Once upon a time, in a classroom not so far away, Mrs. Norris and her students dove into the world of fairy tales! They read The Three Little Pigs, practiced sequencing the story, and then put their building skills to the test! 🏠🏡🐺
Did their houses stand strong, or did the Big Bad Wolf (a.k.a. gravity) huff and puff them down? Let’s just say… we’ve got some future architects in the making! 🔨😄

Our 5th graders had an unforgettable experience at Link Up, a one-of-a-kind interactive event hosted by our local symphony orchestra! 🎻🎺🥁
This amazing program, created by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, gives students the chance to not just listen to a professional orchestra—but perform with them! 🎼👏 Leading up to the event, students learned songs, dances, and even how to play along on instruments like recorders. Then, at the concert, they got to join in live as the orchestra played!
From clapping and singing to playing and moving with the music, our students were fully immersed in the magic of symphonic sound. 🌟🎶 What an incredible way to experience music in action!
