Track & Field Day Update! We’re excited for our Track and Field Day on Monday, rain or shine! Important Weather Info: If it’s a light rain with no lightning, we will carry on with our outdoor events as planned. However, if we experience heavy rain or lightning, we will move some activities indoors and adjust the schedule accordingly. Students may also spend some time in their homerooms if needed during any indoor transitions. Thank you for your support and flexibility—we’re looking forward to a fun day no matter what the weather brings! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Talk about arriving in style! Tember and River cashed in their Bingo Night winnings with an unforgettable ride to school — in a real fire truck! Lights flashing, sirens blaring (just a little!), and smiles all around… it was the ultimate VIP experience! A huge thank you to our local fire department for making this special memory possible. Today we celebrate two of the most dedicated and compassionate professionals on our team — Mrs. Wolters and Mrs. Spradling! These incredible speech pathologists work tirelessly to help our students find their voice and grow in confidence each and every day. Whether it's helping a kindergartener with their first sounds or supporting a student with complex communication needs, Mrs. Wolters and Mrs. Spradling bring patience, expertise, and heart to everything they do. 💗 Their work goes beyond speech — they help build self-esteem, connection, and success for so many of our Catalayah kids. Do you remember hearing about the Jr. Chef Competition? Catalayah was proud to host this exciting event — and two of our very own students, Ethan and Blake, were invited to compete! These young chefs put their culinary skills to the test as they planned, prepared, and presented their dishes in front of a panel of judges. From teamwork to technique, they did an amazing job and made us so proud! It was such a fun and flavorful competition, and we loved seeing our students shine in the kitchen. Way to go, Ethan and Blake — future chefs in the making! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

We had a fantastic time with the Rogers County Master Gardeners today! They led us through a fun, hands-on lesson all about plants. We explored the different parts of a plant — from roots to petals — and even created our own flower diagrams using real seeds! It was an engaging and educational experience, and we’re so thankful they took the time to visit us. Be sure to check them out this summer at the Learning Garden by RSU! They’ll have a special butterfly exhibit in June that you won’t want to miss! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Zebra Stripes Program is an after-school program that is held during the school year and the summer season. Our program’s focus is to provide exceptional care for kindergarten through fifth grade. The program will offer activities that will be age-appropriate and provide the children with social, emotional, and physical development. Buffalo Wild Wings ended Teacher Appreciation Week with a bang! They spoiled our staff with a delicious spread — fresh salads, flavorful wraps, chips and salsa, and just about every sauce you can imagine. It was amazing! But the fun didn’t stop there… they brought the Buffalo mascot along for surprise classroom visits! The students (and teachers!) loved it — what a fun and memorable treat! A huge thank you to Buffalo Wild Wings for going above and beyond to make our staff feel so appreciated. We are so grateful! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Say it with me, class… SPOILED! Our amazing PTO made sure we were absolutely pampered during Teacher Appreciation Week — and we felt every bit of the love! They went above and beyond with lunches, snacks, drinks, desserts, a fun photo op, and even a swag bag for every single staff member. Talk about feeling valued! We truly have the best PTO around, and we can’t thank them enough for their generosity, thoughtfulness, and constant support. For Teacher Appreciation Week, our amazing PTO treated us to lunch from the Marshall Family Food Truck — and wow, it did not disappoint! Their food is absolutely delicious, and the service is just as wonderful. You have to try it! Even better, the truck itself is an adorable, eye-catching yellow school bus that adds an extra touch of fun and nostalgia to the whole experience. We are so grateful to our PTO for thinking of us and to the Marshall Family for sharing their incredible food and kindness. What a treat! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
