Yeehaw! 🤠 Our 3rd graders had a rootin’ tootin’ good time yesterday when our friends from Will Rogers Memorial stopped by! Students learned all about the upcoming Will Rogers Diorama Contest and even got an extra treat when Cowboy Bart showed off his amazing rope tricks! 🪢✨ 📦 Dioramas will be picked up from school the morning of January 30 🗳️ Voting runs February 2 – March 6 📌 This optional contest is for 3rd grade students only. Ms. Toops had her granny panties out today—literally! 😂 Students played the Granny Panties game to review multiplication, division, and Social Studies, earning layers with correct answers. Learning + laughter made it such a fun day! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Snowflakes, whiskers, and winter fun! ❄️🐾 Kindergarten artists in Mrs. Douthitt’s class are busy designing winter cats with Sharpies, oil pastels, tempera paint, and stamped snowflakes. So much creativity packed into these tiny hands! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Lost and found is continuing to grow. It will be here until Thursday at noon. If you need to come look through lost found or remind your kids to come by and check for any missing items. All items are in bags in the front lobby! Thursday at noon everything will be donated. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

When your name becomes the masterpiece ✨🎨 5th graders in Mrs. Ritter’s class are designing bold name art with oil pastels and watercolor, learning how oil resist works along the way. So much creativity happening in the art room! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Castle’s 3rd graders are busy creating fall scene collages in Art Class—cutting, gluing, layering, and designing their way to colorful masterpieces. They even added extra details by printing with paint. So much creativity packed into one project! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Ms. Brewster’s 5th grade class is building more than just skills — they’re building connections! 💛 Each day, students work with a new partner, learning the value of teamwork, kindness, and collaboration. It’s been wonderful watching them strengthen friendships and make new ones along the way! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our 5th graders had the best time at JA BizTown! JA BizTown brings learning to life by giving students the chance to run a simulated town. Our students loved working at their jobs, participating in town meetings, managing money, and even purchasing items at local businesses. What an unforgettable hands-on learning experience! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🎉 EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎉 We had a special visitor this morning! Scott from the City of Claremore, Stormwater Manager and Pretreatment Coordinator, stopped by to help us celebrate an incredible achievement. 🏆 Congratulations to our very own Addi Ennis! Addi is the winner of the City of Claremore’s Trash Truck Art Contest! Each year, the city hosts a district-wide contest for 5th graders focused on pollution prevention, and Addi’s artwork stood out among them all. 🚛✨ Her beautiful design will be displayed on a City of Claremore trash truck for the next several years, traveling all around town! Be on the lookout for her amazing masterpiece as you’re out and about in Claremore. 👏 Great job, Addi! Catalayah Elementary is so proud of you! ❤️🖤🤍 it was extra special that Addi's family were able to come and celebrate with us!! This is the second year in a row that a Catalayah student has won this contest. We are so proud!! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🎶 Rise & Shine with our Chorus Kids! 🎶 Our amazing chorus students performed a couple of songs at Rise & Shine, and they did such a great job! Their hard work, confidence, and joyful voices truly brightened our morning. We are so proud of them! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

✨ Echoes of Mrs. Coffey live on at Catalayah! ✨ After finishing their projects in Art Class, students were given creative choice—and they chose to carry on one of Mrs. Coffey’s signature favorites: God’s Eyes 🧶💛 The best part?
