Our 3rd grade WIN students designed their own self-driven lesson by choosing an illustration they wanted to create. After completing their artwork, they wrote and presented their original stories and information to their classmates — showing off both their artistic and author skills!
We even had a special guest join the fun — Mrs. Shuck stopped by to enjoy the presentations and cheer on our talented students.

Kindergarten Field Trip Success!
Our kindergarten students had a rockin’ good time at the Stephen Fite concert! The interactive, high-energy show had students singing, moving, and learning through music. After the concert, we headed to the park for some fresh air, laughter, and lunch together—what a perfect outing!

Mrs. Hall’s 1st grade class took their learning outside last week.
They were working on morning journals using adjectives!! They went outside and wrote about how nice it was, how the breeze felt, and what the clouds looked like! Then they illustrated the pretty clouds!

During our PE class, students played “Steal the Candy,” a fast-paced game that combined movement, strategy, and math skills! Players raced to grab candy pieces from the center, but if they got tagged, they had to return the candy and try again. Successful steals were placed in their team’s hula hoop, with each candy piece worth a different point value. Students practiced teamwork, quick thinking, and counting skills—all while having tons of fun and staying active!

🧥 If the wind chill is above 32°F, students will still go outside for recess — so please make sure your child brings a warm coat each day.
👟 Running Club will meet after school on Mondays as long as the temperature is 40°F or above.
✏️ Now’s the perfect time to check that your child’s name is written inside their coat — our lost and found fills up fast this time of year!

🌽✨ Ms. Thomas and her after-school Native American Club got crafty last week making corn husk dolls! These traditional dolls have been made by Native American tribes for generations — often using leftover corn husks after the harvest to create simple, meaningful toys that told stories and celebrated culture. 💛
Students loved learning about the history behind them and creating their very own corn husk dolls to take home. What a beautiful way to honor tradition and creativity! 🪶🌾

🧻➗✖️ Math has never been this much fun! Ms. Toops’ 4th graders were “on a roll” during their toilet paper challenge — using tape, toilet paper, and plenty of math skills to measure, multiply, and problem-solve! 💡📏
There was laughter, learning, and lots of teamwork as they wrapped up this creative math lesson. What a fun way to make numbers come to life!
