🎄The Elves Around Catalayah! 🎄 It’s that magical time of year when the classroom elves have made their appearance around Catalayah, and they caused some mischief and magic wherever they went! From hiding in the most unexpected spots to leaving behind tiny notes of cheer, these little elves are spreading holiday joy to every corner of our school. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🌟 Big News Alert! 🌟 A few friends from the Oklahoma Floodplain Managers Association stopped by to honor a very special student! Each year, they host a poster contest to spread the life-saving messages: Last year was TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN. We are thrilled to share that Addabelle Kendall won SECOND PLACE in the entire state… that’s right, IN THE STATE! Addabelle was presented with a beautiful certificate and some amazing calendars featuring her winning artwork. Her poster is showcased alongside the top 13 entries in this year’s calendar! Congratulations, Addabelle! We are SO proud of you and your incredible achievement! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Here we are...... our 12th Day of Christmas!!! We have enjoyed all the dress up days and all the Holiday fun!!! Great job to our students and staff for making these dress up days so fun!

🍁✨ Thankful Thursday Spotlight! ✨🍁 This week, we’re giving a HUGE shoutout to our incredible PTO! They are nothing short of AMAZING. From the countless volunteer hours they dedicate to supporting our students and staff, to the creative and impactful ways they raise money, we are so grateful for all they do! I'm sure you have seen them around the building this month. They have spent HOURS at the school working the Santa Shop. Here are just a few of the incredible things our PTO makes possible: 🎉 Bingo Night 🍪 Staff Treats 🎅 Santa Shop 🍽️ Conference Day Meals ... and so much more, including field trips, playground equipment, and helping meet teacher needs. They’re always coming up with new and exciting ways to spoil our staff and make a difference for our kids. Want to get involved? There’s always room for more in our amazing PTO family! Mrs. Shuck has taken all Lost and Found items and spread them out on the gym floor. They will be there during Rise and Shine on Friday the 20th. If your child is missing anything please stop by and look or have them look!! Items will be on the gym floor until about 8:30, after that they will be bagged up and sent out for donation by 11. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

✨ What an incredible surprise! ✨ Our amazing Partner in Education, Red Crown Federal Credit Union, along with a very special guest (The Grinch), visited us today and surprised EVERY single student with a gift! 🎁 Can you believe it?! Over 500 students received this generous gesture! We are beyond grateful for their kindness and unwavering support. ❤️ Red Crown truly cares about our students, staff, and entire school community. Thankful Thursday 💛 Today, we want to shine a spotlight on our amazing maintenance crew! These incredible individuals keep our school running smoothly every single day. Whether it’s fixing things in record time, keeping the air perfect or ensuring our building stays safe and welcoming, they always go above and beyond with a smile. We’re so grateful for their hard work, kindness, and the pride they take in making our school the best it can be for our students and staff. Thank you for everything you do—our school wouldn’t be the same without you! ❤️

Our STEM Club is taking off—literally! Students are exploring flight simulators, diving into 3D printing to create their own designs, and learning about the forces of flight with model helicopters. Ms. Henry has some incredible activities planned to keep the excitement soaring! ✈️ #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

This week Mrs. Haltom's 2nd grade class has been learning about the Arctic and Antarctic and the animals that live there! They presented their animal reports to the class! Students paired up and researched an Arctic animal to share about! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
