Our friends Tim and John from the Claremore Rotary Club stopped by today to bring each of our 3rd graders their very own dictionary! 📚✨ The Rotary Club is dedicated to serving the community and supporting education, and this annual dictionary donation is one of the many ways they make a positive impact. Guest meals are $5.25, please bring exact change or check. You will pay at the school on the day of the lunch.

👻📚 Spooky Stories in the Library! Mrs. Meyers is cranking up the Halloween vibes in the library this week! She greeted students at the door with a flashlight and explained that they’d be reading by flashlight! 🔦 What a fun (and slightly spooky!) twist on reading time — the kids absolutely loved getting cozy with their Halloween books and a little eerie glow! 🎃✨ #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mr. Elliott’s 4th grade scientists took their learning out of the classroom and into the lobby for a hands-on science demonstration! Mr. Elliott used the trophy case as his white board and the students used jump ropes to model how waves move — a creative way to explore concepts like energy, motion, and wavelength. Learning is always better when it’s in motion! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our kindergarten classes had the best time at Dusty Adventure Farm in Adair last week! 🧡 There was so much to see and do — from meeting the animals (did you see those baby piggies?! 🐷) to exploring the farm and picking out their very own pumpkins to take home. 🎃 Thank you, Dusty’s, for such a fun and memorable day! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our bus drivers are absolutely AMAZING!!! They do so much more than just drive — they love, lead, and care for our students every single day! One shining example is Mrs. Hartley. Each morning she arrives before the doors open, and on Wednesdays she uses that time to read a book to her bus riders! 📚 How stinkin’ cute is that?! It’s those small, thoughtful moments that make such a big difference. 🥰 Thank you, Mrs. Hartley, for going above and beyond and making mornings extra special for your students.
