🍂🦃 Thanksgiving at CPS 🦃🍂 This year, our Thanksgiving meal was more than just a feast—it was a celebration of connection and community! Over 2,300 meals were shared between our students and their guests. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together, from moms and dads to aunts, uncles, or grandparents, and even our amazing high school students and athletes who joined our elementary students at our Thanksgiving tables. 💛 Special moments filled the day as older siblings joined their younger ones, athletes cheered on elementary students, and hugs of gratitude were exchanged everywhere. "Thanksgiving is about gathering, gratitude, and the hugs that remind us we're loved." 🧡

This Thanksgiving, we’re overflowing with gratitude for our amazing Zebra families, students, and community! It doesn't have to be perfect, even if you weigh more than you like, your outfits aren't coordinated, or your kids have food on their clothes. Take the photos because time is a thief. Congratulations to Emma Robinson on being named All-State for Girls Cross Country!💪🏽🦓 Emma Robinson’s outstanding performance at the State 5A Cross Country Meet earned her second place out of an impressive field of 110 runners, further securing her spot as an All-State athlete. This achievement places her among the top ten runners in her class statewide—a prestigious honor in Oklahoma high school cross country. Emma's remarkable season also ranked her as the 10th-best 5K cross-country runner across all classifications in the state. She becomes the fourth All-State cross-country runner in Claremore High School history, way to go, Emma!💪🏽🏅 #cpszebrarpide

Roosa Elementary 3rd Grade classes brought the tradition of Corn Husk Dolls to life by creating their own, blending creativity with cultural learning.❤🌾 The Native American legend of the corn husk doll tells of the Creator shaping the beauty of the Earth, including the plants, animals, and the Three Sisters—the sustainers of life: corn, squash, and beans. Among them, the Corn Husk was revered, and Native Americans crafted faceless corn husk dolls as a reminder to remain humble and never think oneself superior to others.
