
Mrs. Traci Smith, WRJH teacher, and her husband are on a road trip to Big Bear, California, for their 30th wedding anniversary. Those who have had Mrs. Smith know her zebra friend, Meriwether. Lily Enyart 9th grade, traveled to Chickasha, OK, for the State 4-H Horse competition. Her horse wears the #CPSZEBRAPRIDE in this entry in the #ZebraTravelDiaries. Lily won 2nd place (Reserve Grand Champion) in Stakes, 4th in poles and Hunter Hack, and 6th in barrels. She was competing against the top in the state.

Raelene Farmer works in our Special Services Dept. and is pictured with her husband, Marty, daughter Brianna, a CHS graduate. Coach Grimett, also a CHS grad and is now an Asst. This entry into the #ZebraTravelDiaries features Lakyn, daughter of Nathan (CHS Class of 1995) & Krista Binam. While at Arbuckle Wilderness, she had to have a photo with a zebra since she is excited about becoming a Claremore Zebra; she will attend Stuart Roosa as a 4th grader this year.

Kaylee Ward competed in the 🏊🏽♀️ All-State Swim Meet 🏊🏽♀️ in Edmond and finished her Zebra career, adding 3 All-State wins to her list of accomplishments.
She won 1st place in the 100 back, 200 IM and the 200 Yard Medley Relay. She will be attending Oklahoma Christian in the Fall majoring in Software Engineering and Swimming.

Chris Henderson and his family took a 🐬dolphin cruise in Destin, FL, wearing their #CPSZEBRAPRIDE! Coach Henderson is a football and the girls' golf coach at CHS. He also teaches college and career classes. Both his kids “P2” will be 4th graders at Roosa Elementary.

Our District Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Andrea Ratcliff, packed up her family and her #CPSZEBRAPRIDE and took off to Maine this summer. Two of their adventures included hiking Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park and visiting Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine.
Ella is going into 8th grade at WRJH; Rivers is going into 3rd at Westside. Her husband Chris snuck a little #HillcatPride in for our educational partner on the hill. He is the Athletic Director at RSU.

Have you driven by Catalayah lately??? It looks AMAZING!!! Our sweet friends at Destiny Life Church blessed our school by refreshing our flower beds. The summer weeds are gone and the mulch has given Catalayah a fresh look, just in time to start a new school year. All the things are coming together for the start of school, August 12th.
