🌻💐"Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together make this world a beautiful garden." -Unknown Mrs. Stolusky's kindergarten class has been doing some great green things and just in time for Earth Day! They planted sunflowers around the Catalayah gazebo to add a little sunshine to everyone's day! They were given gardening tools, seeds, and soil to work together to plant the seeds, and now they are anxiously waiting to see the blossoms of their labor. When the planting was done, the little gardeners came back inside to write about their day and discuss plant cycles! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

🥕🥬Where does food come from? That is just what Claremont 1st graders are learning about! - They observed how water travels up the stem of a plant and into the leaves by placing a celery stalk in a glass of water dyed with food coloring. - They observed and recorded what the celery looked like before, then they made predictions about what would happen next. - After several hours they observed the changes and recorded them. 🔍👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
