🦓♥🎓COUNTDOWN TO GRADUATION
- 12 Days brought to you by Mrs. Angie Hendrickson
and her son Ayden Carroll.
Mrs. Hendrickson has been a member of the CPS Staff
for 11 years as a paraprofessional at Roosa
Elementary. When asked about her fondest memory of
Ayden in elementary, she shared about all the love and
support Ayden received, “ I remember when Ayden was
in 2nd grade with the Amazing Mrs. Devers - then Miss
Hartsock. After their first Celebrate Success assembly
he'd earned several reading certificates and met his
goals for the nine weeks. She gushed over each and
every one of them and encouraged them all for next
time. I can remember him finding me as soon as school
was over telling me excitedly that he knew why her
name was HARTsock - because of her big heart and
how much she loved her kids and that he couldn't wait
to read more to see how proud she'd be!” She loves the
community that Claremore provides for its students.
The love and compassion all the teachers display to
each and every student is something she is grateful
Ayden has experienced all 12 years of school. She is
thankful to Mr. Riggs at CHS for being such a
compelling teacher, “he really encouraged Ayden to
look outside of his plans for the future and consider
learning different things.”
Ayden is Zebra born and bred. He has attended
Claremore Public Schools since Pre-K and will
graduate on the same stage as his parents did in 1999
and 1998. He has many fond memories at CPS but his
favorite was “going to the State Competition for TSA. It
was the first time I went on an overnight school trip and
was a great opportunity to meet people from other
schools and make memories with my friends.” He loved
walking over to Roosa after a long day at WRJH,
hanging out in his mom’s classroom and working
alongside his mom on homework.

Jerzy the Therapuetic Court Dog visited Claremont Elementary! The students loved getting to make a new furry friend and learn all about the responsibilities of a Therapeutic Court Dog. Jerzy is an Aussie doodle who has the compassionate job of providing comfort and therapy at the Rogers County Courthouse. The students were beyond excited to get to meet her acquaintance and watch her show off some tricks! Thank you for coming for a visit, Jerzy!

📚🍎🦓💯Claremore High School students ACE the ACT!
At some point in a High School student's career, they have to take the dreaded ACT. This timed standardized test is a significant factor for College Admissions, scholarships, and more. It is comprised of four different subjects, Math, Science, Reading, and English, and is compiled to create a perfect score of 36. This is a very challenging test, and Junior - Drew Mason has accumulated a super score of 36 based on the ACT tests he has taken throughout his High School career!
Sophomore Campbell Crum has had success of his own on this challenging test. While only 0.925% of test takers score a 35, that now includes Campbell Crum who received this impressive score on his first opportunity to take the ACT. This is an incredible achievement for these two students, and Claremore Public Schools is very proud!

Each site teacher received $100 and the District Teacher of the Year, Mr. Riggs, received $500. The teachers say the best part about this grant is there is no paperwork involved! A special thank you to all the partners in education and the CPSF Board for making this possible!
