A 5th-grade WIN group blasted off to space with a research project! 🚀The students took on their missions seriously and conducted research to determine the distance from the sun, period of rotation and revolution, diameter, density, surface temperature and surface gravity. The findings of their missions helped them determine if life could actually exist elsewhere.👽

🍕🥙🥜What are your favorite football game snacks?
The "Big Game" is just a few hours away and we know several of our families are busy cooking up some good grub to eat while watching and cheering on their favorite team.
One of our high school classes uses this big event to teach some life skills. Students chose a recipe, created a grocery list, did the shopping, paid for the food and cooked it up during class. It's a WIN-WIN life lesson!

Mrs. Roller's class had a puzzling lesson earlier this week 🤔❓
Using standard measurement to solve a mystery! 🔎
There were three suspects, and students had to look for clues around the classroom. Then, they had to use their ruler and measure the clues in inches. 📏When they were all done, we used our clues to match our suspects and found the criminal!! 🕵️♀️

Even Pre-K students work on technology literacy!
Did you know, with technology and interactive media, learning becomes a multisensory and interactive experience! Devices can promote learning and development when used intentionally and within the framework of developmentally- appropriate practice to support learning goals and expand educational opportunities for all children.

Reading helps students to make sense of not only the world around them, but also people in the book. These students are reading "Wonder", a novel about a 5th grade boy that teaches the importance of kindness, tolerance and acceptance.

What better way to start the morning than with positive affirmations? Mrs. Shuck went in early and made this wall of affirmations for her staff and encouraged them to take whatever they needed for that day! Let's all share some positivity today ☀😄
