Claremore High School Students Receive Funds to Attend College Orientation Camps
GEAR UP and Claremore Public Schools believe that it is important for our students to take part in college bridge/orientation programs as they prepare to start college. The process of starting college and a lack of information about the campus and its resources can be huge stumbling blocks for students. GEAR UP wants to tear down as many walls as possible for the entering college freshmen and help them make a successful start.
To prove our commitment to college success, GEAR UP will reimburse the cost of college orientation/bridge programs for students who graduate from Claremore High School and attend an Oklahoma college or university.
Camps include OU Camp Crimson, OSU Camp Cowboy, NSU RiverHawk Academy, RSU Hillcat Camp, UCO New Broncho Orientation, and others. Check with the Oklahoma college or university you are attending to sign up for their orientation program.
