The Green Country Band Directors Association (GCBDA) Honor Band is our district’s prestigious honor band, where students from Claremore Public Schools compete as individual musicians against students from 22 other schools in the area. Earning a spot in this band is a remarkable achievement and reflects their dedication, skill, and hard work!
For our 10th-12th grade students, this honor also represents the first-round audition for the All-State Concert Band. Those selected to move forward will audition again in December against students from across Oklahoma for a chance to earn the esteemed title of All-State Musician and perform in the All-State Band in January.
