🔴 What advice would you give your freshman self? Time is the most valuable thing you have, don't spend it on the wrong people.

🔴 What has this journey taught you about yourself? This journey has taught me that I am resilient. 

What were the hardest challenges you had to overcome to achieve this honor? The hardest challenge of this honor was having to maintain my grades even when my life got hectic and I did not have the motivation to care anymore.

What does this accomplishment mean to you? This accomplishment gives me validation that everything I have worked hard for was worth it.

What are you most proud of in your high school career? I am most proud of being the Drum Major of the Claremore Zebra Marching Band. It gave me the greatest experience I could ask for, and an amazing group of people to support me.

Looking back on your school experience at CPS, what does being a Zebra mean to you? Being a Zebra means having immense opportunities, and finding a community that never fails to cheer you on.

What elementary staff member made the biggest impact on your life, and how? Mrs. Castle made the biggest impact on my life at Claremont. I was the new kid and she made me feel welcomed and helped me every step of the way.

What junior high staff member made the biggest impact on your life, and how? Mrs. Crabtree made the biggest impact on my life at WRJH. She made sure we all felt loved and gave us a space to relax when we needed it most. 

What high school staff member made the biggest impact on your life, and how? Throughout my high school career, my band directors have made the largest impact on my life. These directors are Mr. Mudd, Mrs. Acord, and Mr. Smith. These directors have fostered my love for music and continued to help me make lifelong friends and learn lifelong lessons along the way.

What activities have you been involved in? AP/Pre-AP Programs, Concurrent courses, Math Club, Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Astronomy Club, and Dinosaur Club.

What is the one thing you will absolutely take with you to college? The knowledge that friendships take effort, don't stop pursuing them.

Recipient of the Academic Excellence Scholarship and the Darin R. Brunson Memorial Scholarship. Honored with the Directors Award, Outstanding Student for the last three years in band, the honor of being the Drum major of the marching band and homecoming queen.
