🔴What advice would you give your freshman self? Take all the opportunities you can and do what YOU want.

🔴What has this journey taught you about yourself? My journey through high school taught me to be more outgoing and to go for opportunities I didn’t even know existed.

🔴What were the hardest challenges you had to overcome to achieve this honor? My biggest struggle was continuing to find the energy and drive to keep trying hard. There were many times I wanted to take it easy, but I knew I couldn’t let myself.

🔴What does this accomplishment mean to you? This honor gave me a great sense of satisfaction, knowing my efforts were not in vain.

🔴What are you most proud of in your high school career? More than anything, I’m proud of all the friends I made. They mean more to me than any class, test score, or class rank.

🔴Looking back on your school experience at CPS, what does being a Zebra mean to you? Being a zebra means feeling a sense of community when I need a helping hand.

🔴What elementary staff member made the biggest impact on your life, and how? My fifth grade teacher Ms. Hodges at Claremont was pretty cool. She inspired a sense of creativity in me whenever we learned something new.

🔴What junior high staff member made the biggest impact on your life, and how? By far, Mr. Isenbart had the biggest impact on me at junior high. He single-handedly inspired a love of technology in me that will last a lifetime. He let me do hands-on learning like no one else had before. His robotics class is the reason I picked my career path.

🔴What high school staff member made the biggest impact on your life, and how? Mr. Cummings greatly inspires me every day. He shows me that I’m free to live however I want. I can be unapologetically myself with a wild disregard for any rules that get in the way of that. He’s the best history teacher ever because of his love of history and teaching; no teacher will ever top him.

🔴What activities have you been involved in? AP/Pre-AP Programs, the Academic Team, Concurrent courses, National Honor Society, NTC, Robotics, SkillsUSA, TSA, ZTV, and the Career Development Program.
