Congratulations to Claremore High School on earning three Oklahoma Blood Institute scholarships! Their annual blood drive program had 312 blood donations, affecting 936 local lives! "Hosting a blood drive is not only a vital community service project but also a personal commitment to help others.
Thanks to the many high school students' commitments, Oklahoma Blood Institute can fulfill its mission of maintaining a reliable blood supply for area patients and local hospitals. These efforts to "Keep it Local" brings hope, health, healing, and comfort to friends, family and neighbors. On behalf of grateful blood recipients and the Oklahoma Blood Institute, we honor and thank Claremore High School," said Susan Daubeneck-Addison - Oklahoma Blood Institute Tulsa Account Consultant.
This year's scholarship winners are Austin Killer, Emilia Anquoe (not pictured), and Abraham Holley. Austin and Emilia have been an integral part of coordinating the blood drives for the past four years through the Claremore NJROTC. Abe donated more units than any other student at CHS.
