LaShell Page is one of our 1st-grade teachers at Roosa Elementary. She has taught for 12 years, with the last 7 of those here at CPS. After shadowing a 1st-grade class in high school, she FELL IN LOVE! She instantly knew teaching was her destiny.
STATEMENT:
"What career has the ability to touch so many people’s lives like ours? In my 12-year career, I’ve been blessed to have had over 300 sweet faces in my classroom! They have all changed my life more than I ever could have imagined. They will always have a place in my heart! I can’t imagine myself doing anything else. This is my passion, my blessing, and my calling. My goal in the classroom is to nurture my students through rigorous activities with love, kindness, and compassion!"
