Before break, students in Ms. Taber’s 4th grade science class were doing major research & presented about natural disasters. The students were put in small groups where they used their devices to research facts & information on their group’s topic. The groups used teamwork to develop their presentation, to create a poster to present to their whole class & they grew their public speaking skills. Awesome job researchers! We love to see it! 💻🦓💪🏽 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

These wonderful kindergarteners helped the Grinch grow his heart by being kind and helpful to others. One of our GE Great Expectations is, "We will help one another whenever possible." They did an excellent job in defining this expectation!!! 🦓❤️🥰 #THROWKINDNESSAROUNDLIKECONFETTI #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

STEM Club was working on predicting, measuring & creating some pretty exciting chemical reactions! Students began by measuring out & working baking powder into a deflated balloon. They then poured vinegar into a bottle. With their partners, students attached the deflated baking powder balloon to the vinegar bottle & the scientist saw chemical reactions at work! The chemical reactions began inflating the balloons - all different sizes depending on measurements. 🦓🧑🏻‍🔬🎈👩🏽‍🔬🎈👨🏼‍🔬🎈🧑🏾‍🔬 Super cool experiment! Great work STEM Club!! Reindeer day and Mystery Readers; it was a good day in Mrs. Sander's first grade class!! Please keep reading each day with your child as it enhances their language development and literacy skills. The shared experience of reading together fosters a strong parent-child bond, promoting emotional connection and a sense of security. Additionally, it cultivates a love for learning, expands vocabulary, and stimulates imagination, laying a solid foundation for academic success in the future!! They have made great gains and need to keep up their progress. Thank you parents!!🦓❤️📖 #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
