As we finish out our 12 Days of Christmas Dress-Up and Donation days, Westside wants to thank each of our incredible students, parents and family members that have sent in donations. Here is a list of where those donations have been sent, and again, we THANK YOU for the impact you have helped make on our community! 🙏❤️🎁 🦓Toys have been donated to Grace United Methodist Church's gift assistance program. 🦓Ornaments were donated to Claremore's VA Hospital. 🦓All food and non-perishable donations were donated to the food pantry at Cranberry Merchant. Under the guidance of Ms. Frost, Stem Club made potions during their first meeting to see what type of chemical reaction they would get. 🧪 🧫 The students used vinegar, baking soda and food coloring and experimented with different amounts. Because it was around Halloween, they also made up their own spell!

Mrs. Lyons is back in the classroom with 2nd grade! ✌🏻 They are working on "Think It or Say It". This lesson helps them evaluate whether their thought should be shared or whether it should say in their heads. 💭 🤔 In these pics these kiddos are working as a group to determine how the initial thought might impact how others feel and whether they should just think it or say it.
