Our culture is defined by staff passionate about helping students develop through academics, arts, athletics, activities, and attitude. Our goal is to create a culture of employee empowerment and provide each student access to a qualified and effective teacher in every classroom, an effective principal in every school and an effective employee in every position.

We actively recruit applicants whose first concern is helping all students reach their full potential.  We are also committed to keeping these employees by providing excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

We believe people, employees and students, are our most valuable resources.

We are a community - a team - a family!

Investing in Leadership: Claremore Public Schools Expands Opportunities for Educators

Ten Teachers Participate in the Inaugural CPS Aspiring Administrators' Academy

Claremore Public Schools (CPS)  is dedicated to developing and supporting the next generation of educational leaders. As part of this ongoing commitment, CPS has established multiple pathways for educators to grow, lead, and advance within our district.

In 2023 we launched the Aspiring Administrators’ Academy, a nine-session program designed for staff members who had already earned their master’s degree and were interested in advancing into leadership roles.

This investment in leadership development has already made an impact - two of our administrative positions this year were filled with graduates from this program.

In 2024, building on this success, CPS is expanding its leadership development opportunities through a new Master of Educational Leadership (MAEL) partnership with Southern Nazarene University (SNU). This cohort-based program will allow current educators to complete their master’s degree on-site at CPS, with classes taught by SNU faculty and Claremore district leaders. Participants will also receive a 33% tuition reduction and have the opportunity to qualify for Title I teacher loan forgiveness.

With initiatives like the Aspiring Administrators’ Academy and this new partnership with SNU, CPS is reinforcing its commitment to investing in our educators and strengthening the district’s leadership pipeline. These programs ensure that the future leaders of CPS are prepared, experienced, and deeply connected to our district’s mission.
