February Fitness!!! Mrs. Branco set up stations for her February Fitness activity. Classes participated in stations that focused on strength, balance and cardio training. Each group stayed at each station for 2 minutes before going to the next. They worked hard on their fitness while having fun. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Kindness continues on this National Random Acts of Kindness Day!!! Ms. Brewster's class wrote about how they would show kindness. Ms. Toop's class made kindness notes for people around the school. They enjoyed delivering their notes. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

More Random Acts of Kindness!!! Mrs. Bonham's GT class made kindness notes and hide them around the school for other students to find! They have been so excited to find the notes! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Our GE Coach, Sue came by to spend some time with our teachers this week. They worked on new celebrations, team building ideas and ways to demonstrate GE practices daily. Great Expectations® (GE) is a professional development program that provides teachers and administrators with the skills needed to create harmony and excitement within the school atmosphere, elements that are basic for inspiring students to pursue academic excellence Being a GE Model school is important to us and we look forward to these trainings!! ** REMINDER ** All Claremore Public Schools offices and campuses will be closed for Presidents Day on Monday, February 21, 2022. The child nutrition team will move the distribution of meals from Monday to Tuesday the 22nd. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Bonham and her 3rd-5th graders made Valentine's Day cards for residents at a nursing home. We love doing acts of kindness! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Newman's kindergarten class enjoyed some Valentines Centers earlier this week. They played Valentine's minute to win it games. They were picking up gummies with chopsticks, stacking conversation hearts, rolling dice and counting Hershey kisses into a cup, and balancing conversation hearts on popsicle sticks. #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Brassfield is teaching the kids how to make cookbooks in computers! They are making cookbooks using Microsoft Word. They are learning how to format their pages, use bullets, numbering lists, and inserting 3-D models. They are also changing fonts, colors, sizes, learning copying/pasting information, etc. They were creating the front cover but, will be adding recipes over the next few weeks! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE

Mrs. Shuck and Mrs. Heatherly wanted to show their staff how much they are loved!!! They went around the school and delivered a sweet Valentine to all of their Valentines!! #CPSZEBRAPRIDE
