In the whimsical world of 4th-grade storytelling, Saltine Quackers, the stuffed duck, became the unexpected hero of adventures so wild that even bedtime had to wait for the epic feathered saga to unfold.
Ms. Brewster gives each student a chance to write a story about their stuffed duck. The 4th graders have come up with some really interesting stories!!!
Here are a few pictures of Claire sharing her story with friends.

More fun with our 5th graders!!
One of their story’s was the play, “The Miracle of Spring.” Students were given parts and had to act it out in front of the class. This was a very fun play to act out, all the students absolutely loved it!
Spring was banned by a King. Because of this, the trees were not bearing fruit, the lamb was not shedding its fur, honey bee could not make honey, and all of Mother Nature was affected in some way. In the end, King came to his senses and apologized to Spring. Spring returned and all was right with the world.

Biztown is coming soon!! Have you ever been to Biztown? It's such a cool place. This popular learning experience allows elementary school students to operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks, and vote for mayor. Students are able to connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world.
