Our 3rd grade students took a field trip to the Will Rogers Memorial. The kids learned about Will Rogers, and they met a real children’s author. He donated a copy of his book to our school and he also did some rope tricks for everyone.
We also watched magic show at the memorial and listened to most amazing storyteller. Have you ever had the chance of listening to a story from Robert Lewis??
He is the best. If you ever get the chance to listen to him you better take it!!

Mrs. Newmans kindergarten class has been learning about Bears all week. What better way to finish out the week then to bring our teddy bears from home to join us for the day. Our teddy bears have loved their day in kindergarten!! They have helped us with our work and enjoyed meeting our friends.

🌶SAVE THE DATE - November 3rd - for the 36th Annual Chili Supper hosted by the Claremore Rotary. Your $5 ticket will include a heaping bowl of chili, a drink, dessert and entertainment. You can purchase your ticket from any Rotary member or at the door; all proceeds benefit the Claremore Public School Foundation and go directly to teachers through their annual Grant Patrol program.

Our friends from Cherokee Nation Education Center came by Catalayah and taught our 3rd-5th graders about some Cherokee Heritage!!!!
They played some old Cherokee games like marbles, game of graces and stick ball, they also learned about Cherokee Language. The students really enjoyed it.
