Ms. Henry and Mrs. Rahn went to Houston to Johnson Space Center for an amazing conference last week.
She went on the floor of Mission Control with Astronaut Col. Nicole Mann. Got to see Astronaut Loral O’Hara who is currently on the ISS, doing an interview and also met astronaut Jessica Mier who was working in Mission Control today and Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano! Such an amazing experience! Thank Col. John Rahe for making this happen!
*Some of these astronauts were in the education field/profession at some point before their NASA career.
Ms. Henry presented a lesson about Astronaut Roosa and Moon Trees! (Made possible by NASA OKSG) Along with getting help from her assistants and current NASA OKSG participants, Gary and Briley!

Mrs. T's gifted and talented students have completed their assignment to produce a Google Slides presentation covering one of the National Parks. 4/5th were required to do 10 slides each and 3rd was asked to prepare 5 slides. SO proud of each of them! All of us know quite a bit more about these national treasures after this assignment ♥️🇺🇸💙
